St. George's Parish

St. George's Parish was founded in 1891 as a mission to the Episcopal Diocese of California. The original mission is part of Heritage Hill Park and represents 110 years of Christianity in Saddleback Valley. As one of the oldest congregations in Orange County, St. George's Parish has provided worship space for Jewish, Greek Orthodox and Baptist communities. In 1940, the mission church opened an ecumenical Sunday school serving a diversity of religions in the area.

Today, St. George's Academy continues to adhere to the original mission of the Episcopal Church: "To seek and serve all persons—and to respect the dignity of every human being."

Under the tutelage of Rev. Albert Ogle, rector of St. George's Parish, the congregation and school remain a center in Orange County for people of all faiths and backgrounds. The Academy weaves religion into its everyday curriculum, allowing for students to become fulfilled both spiritually and intellectually.
